Susy Castillo, MD, is a Guatemalan urologist and endourologist, recognized as the first woman certified by the Guatemalan Association of Urology. She completed her urology training and advanced fellowship in Endourology in Mexico and currently leads a private practice focused on minimally invasive urologic surgery and laser-based treatments.
Dr. Castillo serves as a national HoLEP proctor and is actively involved in surgeon education and training. She is also a member of the Artificial Intelligence Office of the Mexican College of Urology, promoting the integration of emerging technologies into clinical practice and medical education.
Her clinical and academic interests include urinary tract infections, endourological laser procedures, benign prostatic hyperplasia, minimally invasive surgery, and innovation in urology. She is committed to advancing evidence-based care, surgical excellence, and technological innovation throughout Latin America.
