Dr Charalampos Konstantinidis graduated from the medical school of the University of Patra in Greece in 1996. He completed his training in Urology in 2004. In 2005, he obtained the title of Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU). He had post-graduate training through clinical fellowships at the Urology Department of Nordwest Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany, at “Sava Perovic Foundation”, practicing in genito-urinary reconstructive surgery in Belgrade, Serbia, and the Neuro-urology Unit of the University Hospital of Innsbruck, Austria. He worked as a consultant in Urology at the Urology department of the “Asclepion” hospital of Athens in 2005. Since August 2006, he has been a consultant in Urology at the National Rehabilitation Center of Athens. In 2012, he obtained the title of Fellow of the European Committee on Sexual Medicine (FECSM). In 2022, he obtained a PhD degree.
Dr Konstantinidis is an active member and member of the boards and committees of national and international scientific societies and associations (HUA, EAU, ISSM, ESSM, ISCoS, SIU, MIPS, ICS, INUS, and GAF).
Dr Konstantinidis has delivered more than 260 lectures in the field of functional urology (Andrology, Sexual Medicine, Urodynamics, Incontinence, and Neuro-urology). He has the authorship of 45 international publications and more than 35 in Greek. He participated as an author in more than 300 oral, video, or poster presentations at domestic and international congresses. He authored book chapters in 8 books regarding functional urology, neuro-urology, and the sexual function of paraplegics. According to Google Scholar, he has 711 citations, an h-index of 15, and an i10–index of 20.
