Andrea Cocci is a Consultant Urologist and Andrologist at Careggi University Hospital, Florence, Italy, where he serves as Chief of the Andrology Sector of the Department of Urology and Andrology. Nationally qualified as Full Professor of Urology, his clinical and research interests focus on sexual and reproductive medicine, Peyronie's disease, penile prosthetic and reconstructive surgery, gender-affirming surgery, and robotic and minimally invasive urology. He coordinates the Surgical Gender-Reassignment Program of the Tuscany Region and is a member of the EAU Sexual and Reproductive Health Guidelines Panel and a board member of the EAU Section of Genitourinary Reconstructive Surgeons (ESGURS). He has authored more than 190 peer-reviewed publications (h-index 30) and serves on the editorial boards of several international journals. His work has been recognized with the 2025 ESSM Award of Excellence and the 2024 SIU Matula Award.
