Dr. Yilmaz is a urologist with extensive academic expertise in the field of urology. In 2021, he served as a visiting researcher at the Department of Urology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Freiburg, Germany. He was awarded the Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU) title in 2023 and received the academic title of Associate Professor from the Interuniversity Council of Türkiye in 2024. Since 2023, he has been practicing as a urologist in Germany.
Dr. Yilmaz has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed international publications. His primary research interests include laser enucleation of the prostate (LEP) for the surgical management of benign prostatic obstruction and the diagnosis and treatment of erectile dysfunction.
