Dr. Reiter is Professor and Chief of Urologic Oncology at UCLA School of Medicine. He is also Assistant Dean for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Dr Reiter's clinical focus is on prostate cancer, where he has been an innovator and leader in robotic surgery and molecular and anatomic imaging. His laboratory has published extensively on the identification and translation of novel cell surface proteins for treatment and imaging of prostate cancer, including the discovery of Prostate Stem Cell Antigen. He has been Principal Investigator of UCLA's Prostate Cancer SPORE since 2001, a multi-million dollar multidisplinary program project grant focused on translational science in prostate cancer, a program that has led to the discovery of agents such as enzalutamide and apalutamide. He has also been a serial entrepreneur, having co-founded Agensys, EMTx Therapeutics, and ImaginAb.
