    Michael Grasso III, received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine in Philadelphia, completing his Surgery and Urology residency training at Jefferson in 1992. While in Philadelphia he worked closely with Dr. Demetrius Bagley, developing broad academic interests in minimally invasive surgery and Urologic Oncology, advancing the field of Endourology by developing many minimally invasive therapies, advanced instrumentation, with significant contributions to the literature. He served as Assistant and Associate Professor of Urology at Loma Linda University in Southern California, Professor of Urology with tenure at New York University in Manhattan, and since 2001 he has been Professor of Urology with tenure at New York Medical College. He is also currently Chairman of Urology at Phelps Medical Center in Sleepy Hollow New York, Director of an Endourology fellowship-training program since 1999, while also stewarding research in renal oncology and physiology with Thambi Dorai Ph.D at Northwell Health.

    Summary of curriculum vitae includes: 120 peer review publications, 63 text book chapter, Color Atlas Of Endourology co-authored with David Albala in 1999, Surgical and Medical Management Of Nephrolithiasis with David Goldfarb in 2012, Endourologic Management of Upper Urinary Tract Urothelial Carcinoma with Demetrius Bagley in 2016, Advanced Ureteroscopy: Overcoming Difficult Problems with Scott Hubosky and Olivier Traxier in 2021, 207 academic presentations, 27 instructional videos of surgical technique, and 376 visiting professorships and invited academic lectures worldwide.
