Dyandra Parikesit, MD, BMedSc, FICS, Urologist at Universitas Indonesia Hospital, Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia, is an academic urologist with advanced international training in endourology, minimally invasive surgery, and prostate enucleation.
Dr. Parikesit completed his medical education at Universitas Indonesia and holds a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Melbourne. He further refined his expertise through an international fellowship at Seoul National University Hospital, focusing on robotic surgery, percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), retrograde intrarenal surgery (RIRS), and prostate enucleation techniques.
His clinical and academic interests center on complex stone management, suction-assisted RIRS, prostate enucleation (including bipolar and laser techniques), and male infertility. He is actively involved in advancing endourology through research, innovation, and surgical education, with numerous peer-reviewed publications and international presentations.
Dr. Parikesit plays an active role in both national and global urological communities, including the Indonesian Urological Association, Endourology Society, and Société Internationale d’Urologie. He has held key leadership positions at Universitas Indonesia Hospital, contributing to education, clinical development, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
A frequent invited speaker and instructor, Dr. Parikesit is recognized for his contributions to surgical training and standardization of minimally invasive urological techniques across Asia-Pacific. He is also the editor of the Indonesian guidebook on prostate enucleation, reflecting his commitment to structured education and clinical excellence.
