Dr Yongwei Lim graduated with his MBBS from St George's, University of London, UK in 2008. He completed the 2 year foundation programme in the NHS before returning to Singapore.
He did his Urology residency training from 2010 to 2018 at Singapore General Hospital. And he joined Sengkang General Hospital, Singapore when it opened in August 2018. This is where he currently practices as a consultant surgeon in Urology.
Dr Lim did a 12 month Endourology fellowship at Charing Cross Hospital, Imperial College, NHS Trust, London, UK in 2023.
His interest include: endourology (management of BPH and stone disease) and functional urology. He is also passionate about finding safe approaches to managing patients with BPH without stopping their anticoagulation medication.
His surgical interests include: BPH surgery for patients while on anticoagulation and anti-platelet medication (Laser and Bipolar enucleation of prostate and various minimally invasive surgical treatment for BPH) and en-bloc TURBT.
