Dr. Sarvajit Biligere is a distinguished expert in Urology with a subspecialty interest in Endourology, particularly in the management of kidney stone disease, BPH, and minimally invasive surgery for prostate and kidney cancers.
He played a pivotal role in establishing the Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy programme at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), where he also underwent subspecialty training in Anatomic Endoscopic Enucleation of the Prostate (AEEP/HoLEP).
Currently, Dr. Sarvajit leads the Laser Enucleation Programme at NTFGH, having performed over 325 HoLEP procedures using advanced laser technologies including Moses and Magneto lasers. He is the 1st adopter of the "Enbloc-enucleation with Early Apical release" in Singapore. He also serves as a proctor and mentor, guiding urologists within the National University Health System (NUHS) and training future consultants and residents.
Dr. Sarvajit graduated from St. John’s Medical College, Bangalore in 2007. He completed his Master of Surgery (General Surgery) in 2012 from Coimbatore Medical College and earned his MRCSEd in 2015. He received his formal Urology training at NTFGH and was awarded a Diploma in Urology by the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2019. In 2023, he was elected Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd Urology).
A dedicated educator, he is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine and contributes actively to academic research through conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
