Prof. Tubaro is Chairman of the Department of Surgery and Head of the division of Urology at the Sant’Andrea Hospital which is the campus of the Faculty of Medicine and Psychology of the Sapienza University of Rome.
Prof. Tubaro has published 476 papers indexed in Scopus with 15,427 citations and an h-index of 57, 6 books and 15 book chapters.
Prof. Tubaro research activities include urinary incontinence, LUTS/BPH diagnosis and treatment, prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Prof. Tubaro was member of the EAU Board, Chairman of the Research Office, member of the EAU Research Foundation and member of the EAU panel for Guidelines on urinary incontinence.
Prof Tubaro is currently Board Member of the Italian Urological Society (SIU) and President of the Urology Foundation of the SIU.
He participated and chaired several international committees on BPH and urinary incontinence.
